Spring is finally here and Sunday at Sharmans is back! After last year's huge success, we are once again hosting a Spring Carnival themed event. Make sure you dress up in your best frock/suit and hat to win a prize in the Sharmans fashion in the vines :) We welcome back Joe Di Sario aka the Tassie Tenor who will be performing your favourite Spring soundtrack from 11-3pm. We also welcome back our long time friends Delicious Little Things and South Coast Canteen to serve up some tasty treats for the afternoon. We will also be serving our up our Tasmanian Cheese Platters and of course our premium Tasmanian wines. Get your groups together, get your outfits sorted and get along to the Sharmans Spring Carnival!
Sunday at Sharmans is back on October 21st. Nathan Broomhall will be returning to play one of his amazing acoustic sets from 12-3pm. We will be serving both of our vineyard platters and of course our award-winning Tasmanian wines! No bookings as always, just turn up on the day and pick your spot. Treat your beautiful mum to a special day at Sharmans! Because mums are special, we're teaming up with Delicious Little Things for a High Tea event at our cellar door. We have 3 sessions available - each session is 1.5 hours. We have 10:30-12, 12:30-2 and 2:30-4. Bookings are essential and pre-payment is required to secure your booking. Prices are $50pp for adults and $25pp for kids. Entertainment on the day will be provided by the lovely Frankie Andrew from 12:30pm onward. Yes it's back! After the huge success of our January installment we have gone back to the drawing board to make it even better! We have our good friends and vineyard favourite One on the Slide back with not only their delicious sliders but a few extra additional crowd pleasers :) In addition, we have our friends at The Woodbridge Smokehouse with their delicious Tasmanian Salmon and Ocean Trout and The Tasmanian Food Co.with their award winning Pyengana Dairy and Robur Farm cheese coming out to showcase their amazing range of world class Tasmanian produce with tastings, platters and take home produce. We hope to see you all there, a lovely relaxing build up to the Launceston Cup the following Wednesday...not to mention some pretty awesome, award winning wine to seal the deal (as if you weren't already sold ;) )

Friday is the last day of work before Christmas for many people so why not have your post-work catch-up on the lawn at Sharmans? We will be serving both our cheese platters and our lunch platters right up until 7:30 and of course our range of premium wines. Adding to the serene outlook of the vineyard, we have local musician Tom Fowkes to perform from 5-8pm. Joe Di Sario aka the Tassie Tenor is back as your entertainment for the afternoon and Casa Paella LTD are back with their delicious paella. We welcome you once again to sample some of Tasmania’s finest wines at our next statewide event which includes wineries and vineyards from throughout Tasmania, with wine classes, food and live music.
This year’s Tasmanian White Wine Weekend runs from 28-29 October 2017 at Princes Wharf No 1 in Hobart (popular home of the Taste of Tasmania).
Visitors will have the opportunity to sample over 50 Tasmanian wines from several other statewide producers, including Sparkling, Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Pinot Gris and Grigio, Rose’ and dessert wines. Wines are presented in varietal and style categories and wines are available for purchase.
