It's on again but with some extra flair! In the lead up to the Melbourne Cup we are transforming Sunday at Sharmans into a Spring racing carnival! Joe Di Sario aka the Tassie Tenor is back as your entertainment for the afternoon and Casa Paella LTD are back with their delicious paella. There will be prizes up for grabs and some fun extra activities (more details to come) so pop on your best frock, hat, fascinator, suit etc...for some fashion in the vines :) As always we will be serving our Tasmanian cheese platters for afternoon tea and our range of premium Tasmanian wines are available all day. ** no bookings, just turn up!
We welcome you once again to sample some of Tasmania’s finest wines at our next statewide event which includes wineries and vineyards from throughout Tasmania, with wine classes, food and live music.
This year’s Tasmanian White Wine Weekend runs from 28-29 October 2017 at Princes Wharf No 1 in Hobart (popular home of the Taste of Tasmania).
Visitors will have the opportunity to sample over 50 Tasmanian wines from several other statewide producers, including Sparkling, Riesling, Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Pinot Gris and Grigio, Rose’ and dessert wines. Wines are presented in varietal and style categories and wines are available for purchase.
Our Dad's are the BEST so why not show your Dad exactly how much he means to you by shouting him to an afternoon of great food, amazing wines and fantastic entertainment. We will have DJ Grinning Cat out here playing some classic tunes, Marcus from One on the Slide providing a great selection of delicious dishes, our Tasmanian cheese platters will be available between 2-3pm and as always, our awesome range of wines. A relaxing afternoon which is sure to be appreciated by all Fathers!

This year is expected to be even bigger with a hit parade of Tasmania’s celebrated wines, including sparkling, Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and more, showcased by a strong line up of Tasmania’s leading wine producers.
VIN Diemen will also share a taste of the island’s other beverages, such as cider, its pristine produce and outstanding tourism offerings.

Sunday At Sharmans is back, but with a winterlicious twist! We'll have the usuals: live music, hot, delicious food from a local vendor, our Tasmanian cheese platters and a few special tricks up our sleeve to keep you warm and entertained.
Stay posted, and we'll keep you informed on the details, such as the live entertainment, menus, and more. Let's not hibernate this winter - let's rug up, get friends & family together and enjoy local produce, and of course, Sharmans Wines!
We are holding a special Sunday @ Sharmans High Tea, catered for by the one and only Delicious Little Things. Come and enjoy sweet and savoury treats, in the warmth and comfort of our beautiful cellar door, and make the most of the option for a cheeky glass of bubbles* with your High Tea.
Worried about the weather? Don't be! Your booking will be for indoors, the fire will be lit, and stay tuned, as we hope to offer you some live accoustic music, competitions and more!Important info: We have limited seating, so bookings are essential via the Sharmans Wines Cellar Door. The cost is $40 per head and this includes 4 x savouries, 6 x sweets and a beverage of your choice - *including the entire Sharmans Wines range, espresso coffee, tea, and a range of beers, ciders, and non alcoholic beverages. We will hold 2 seatings: 11am, and 1.30pm,and your booking will be for a maximum of 1.5 hours at your reserved table. Maximum table size of 6 people.

Because mums are special, we're having a special Devonshire Tea available at the cellar door - as well as our cheese platters, our range of boutique Tasmanian wine, espresso coffee, non alcoholic beverages and more. Whilst you relax at our cellar door, Nathan Broomhall will be keeping you entertained, playing accoustic tunes. Stay tuned for info on competitions and more!
