2013 Sharmans Chardonnay
Fermentation is in French Oak for around 11 months, which gives the wine structure and texture without overt oak flavours. This palate displays ripe citrus and stone fruit with hazelnut and vanilla characteristics.
2013 Sharmans Chardonnay Unoaked
Fermentation results in a wine very much fruit driven. This is a lighter style wine with peach and stone fruit dominance which results in a refreshing wine.
2013 Sharmans Pinot Noir
Semi translucent dark crimson red colour with light crimson red hue. The nose displays aromas of dark cherry intermixed with a touch of sour cherry, cedar and spice. Light to medium weight but with impressive concentration and depth the palate possesses flavours of ripe dark cherries, plum juice, cedar and spice. Very fine grained almost velvet like tannins showing excellent integration. Long dark cherry, plum and spicy cedar aftertaste. The Pinots Noirs from the North Esk River Vineyard are generally fairly big wines with soft tannins and an elegant complex palate.

2013 Vintage Sparkling
This 2013 Sparkling was produced from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir grapes using traditional method champenoise. It is a brut style sparkling with a pink diamond hue, showing quince and rich custard apple characters on the nose, followed by a core of red apple crunchiness on the palate. This is followed by a brioche toastiness, and a creamy mouthfeel.
The fruit for this Merlot is sourced from a premium vineyard in the Coal River Valley in Tasmania's South. Dark red in colour with ruby hues, showing an aroma of spiced plums, blueberry and black liquorice as well as sweet notes of chocolate and red currant. Subtle notes of leather and mushroom combine to create a complex flavour profile. French Oak characters with natural acidity give the wine structure and length. This wine can be cellared for 10 years.
2014 Pinot Noir
A typically intense nose of dark cherry and plum, intermixed with a touch of sour cherry and earthy ground coffee. This is a full bodied Pinot Noir with impressive concentration and depth. The palate possesses rich, full and plush flavours of ripe dark red to black stone fruit with a hint of chocolate and oak.
Showing distinctive floral aromatics of lavender and wisteria, with underlying clove and dried flowers. The palate displays pineapple and citrus fruits of lemon and lime. With delicate acidity, this wine will age well.
2014 Sauvignon Blanc
A ripe style of Sauvignon Blanc, with spicy citrus aromas, a palate of ripe stone fruit, sweet capsicum and melon rind. The mouth feel is vibrant with a gentle refreshing lemony acid.
2014 Sharmans Cabernet Merlot
With around 85% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Merlot and a splash of Malbec, this 2013 wine has a deep cherry colour and berry fruit on the nose. Vibrant and fresh with a palate that is firm medium weight and persistent, showing a complexity of red to dark fruit and cassia characters. Will age well and cellar easily for 10 years.
The grapes for this quality wine have been sourced from a premium vineyard located in the Tamar Valley Region. This vibrant, cool climate Shiraz is elegant and lighter in style, presenting a nose of luscious bright currants, hints of oak, mocha and typical Tasmanian white pepper aromas.
